50 Cent Taunts Rick Ross Over Backstage Attack At Vancouver Festival

Rapper 50 Cent has publicly mocked Rick Ross after a video surfaced showing Ross being attacked by supporters of Drake at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver.

During his performance on June 30, Ross played Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us,” which led to a confrontation backstage.

Footage shows Ross and his entourage being confronted by a group of men, resulting in Ross being sucker-punched and a subsequent brawl. The scuffle left several of Ross’s team members injured, though Ross himself escaped with the help of security.

50 Cent and Rick Ross have a long history of rivalry between them. This is the reason 50 took to Instagram to share the footage, captioning it with “LMAO THE GREAT ESCAPE! MEEKA CALL THE CHASERS, THEY ARE CHASING ME. LOL.”

Adding fuel to the fire, 50 Cent also posted a video featuring Ross’s ex-girlfriend, Tia Kemp, who mocked Ross for not fighting back. In his posts, 50 Cent sarcastically expressed concern for Ross, saying he hoped Ross had learned a lesson from the incident.

Rick Ross has not responded to the footage or 50 Cent’s comments. Instead, he posted a photo on his Instagram Stories standing next to his private jet with the caption, “Vancouver it was fun, till next time.”

The beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross has been ongoing for years, with recent flare-ups including 50 Cent referencing controversial lyrics from Ross’s past songs.

In May, 50 Cent posted an edited video associating Ross’s lyrics with accused sex offenders, to which Ross responded by bringing up past allegations against 50 Cent.
