April Polls: APC Plans Defeat For PDP, Says Akume

Senate Minority Leader, Dr. Goerge Akume has said the All Progressive
Party, APC in Benue is all set for the April 11 governorship election and House of Assembly, and would not allow the PDP to return power in the state.
Sen. Akume, the former governor of the state vowed:  “As it is now, Benue is APC and APC is Benue. And, we will not allow PDP or other party win power at the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The APC leader in the state further hailed the emergence of the President- elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, saying his victory is the true expression of the feelings of Nigerians.
While commending President Goodluck Jonathan for showing maturity and sportsmanship by conceding defeat at the election, the APC stalwart urged him to ensure smooth transition to another elected administration.
He said INEC used of card readers did fundamentally well and produced credible results, insisting that it must be sustained in the country in subsequent elections.
While giving a pass mark to INEC national chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega for conducting a free and fair election, the Senate Minority leader boasted that his party, APC has captured Benue
