At courtesy visit, CIPM lauds RCCG’s partnership, support

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) recently paid a courtesy visit to the Special Assistant to the RCCG General Overseer on Administration, Prof. Oladele Balogun. The visit was made by a team of CIPM officials, including Engr. Sean Olabode Badiru, MCIPM, Chairman, CIPM, Ogun State Branch, Mr. Gbenga Odetunde, Deputy Registrar, CIPM, Mr. Olutayo Olawale, MCIPM, Director of Membership and Market Development, CIPM, Dr. Olutunde Olukoga, ACIPM, General Secretary, CIPM, Ogun State Branch, and Mrs. Margaret Komolafe, Deputy Manager, Market Development.


During the visit, the CIPM team expressed their gratitude to RCCG for choosing the institute as the certifying body for People Managers in RCCG. The CIPM also appreciated the church’s leadership for sponsoring CIPM members within RCCG to attend international conferences of the institute, which demonstrates the value RCCG places on the capacity development of its workforce.

In response, Prof. Oladele Balogun thanked the CIPM team for the visit and the continued support. He assured the CIPM that RCCG will continue to sponsor its members to participate in the institute’s programs, especially the annual International Conference.

He also acknowledged the dynamic nature of the people management profession and expressed his confidence that with the CIPM’s guidance, support, and invaluable resources, RCCG will continue to surge ahead, confidently navigating the shifting landscapes of the profession.

He said “The world is indeed a dynamic place, constantly changing and evolving. This also applies to the realm of people management, where we find ourselves amidst a whirlwind of transformation. It’s a reality that demands our attention, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.

But, there is a beacon of hope in the form of the CIPM. With your guidance, support, and invaluable resources, we find assurance that we won’t merely keep pace with change, but we’ll surge ahead, confidently navigating the shifting landscapes of our profession.”
