According to reports, unscrupulous individuals are posing as representatives of FGSL to swindle innocent individuals out of their hard-earned cash in exchange for non-existent lucrative roles at the company.
In an official statement issued by FGSL, the company vehemently denies any involvement in these fraudulent activities, emphasizing its commitment to ethical business practices and the protection of its clients and the general public.
The statement categorically asserts that FGSL never solicits payment from job applicants or individuals seeking business opportunities and advises the public to be cautious of any communication or transaction involving the company that does not come directly from official channels.
According to the Human Resources and Admin Manager of the firm, Nonyelum Orakwue, “We wish to bring to the notice of the general public that our company Fortune Global Shipping and Logistics, will never ask anyone seeking employment with us to part with any sum of money.
“We completely disassociate our company Fortune Global Shipping and Logistics Limited from any such fraudulent advertisement. We are, therefore, putting out this disclaimer so that the public can take note and be careful in their dealings.”
The alert comes as a precautionary measure after FGSL received several reports from individuals who had fallen victim to these fraudulent activities. The company underscores that it holds no responsibility for any financial losses or damages incurred as a result of engaging with such fraudulent activities.
