To achieve its vision of providing global visibility and attracting investment to Abia state, Governor Alex Otti has appointed the founder and Chief Executive of ActivEdge Technologies, George Agu, as a distinguished member of Abia Global Economic Advisory Council.
This appointment recognises Mr. Agu’s exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the technology sector in Africa with a vast amount of goodwill and network. This appointment to the Abia Global Economic Advisory Council thus aligns seamlessly with the vision of the Abia state government and its commitment to driving economic growth and development in the state by partnering with notable business leaders in the country and globally across critical sectors.
The council’s primary objective includes formulating strategic economic policies, attracting foreign direct investments, and creating the enabling environment for businesses to thrive in Abia State with a commitment to excellence and innovation. According to the state government, the goal will be to open up Abia state for more economic opportunities and elevate the state to new heights of prosperity.
