It was a grand spectacle, last Saturday, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, as the grand finale of the second edition of the yearly Vibes With Dr Adaku music, wellbeing and tech festival took place.
The event, which was created by Nigerian-British singer, Dr Adaku, unlocked a myriad of opportunities for young people in music and tech.
The opening event of the festival, which held at Grace Arena Plaza, in Victoria Island, featured a web 3.0 workshop for no fewer than 100 attendees, who benefited from on-site training from British tech mavericks, Alysia Huggins, as well as Dr Adaku, who’s also the President of the Oxford Blockchain society, in the United Kingdom. The workshop also allowed participants to earn reward tokens ranging from N25,000 to N75,000 based on their performance at the event.
The festival climaxed on Saturday, December 30, with a music accelerator featuring over 15 budding musicians, and a live performance from Dr Adaku. Other notable guest appearances at the festival included Flavour, Leap of Faith dance academy, as well as celebrity sports blogger, Dr Kelechi Anyikude.
